Commercial Filming &
Photography
Permits
Tourism is a major economic contributor to the Barwon Coast region and we recognise the vital role that positive promotion through advertising, film and television can play in supporting the industry.
For that reason, we actively welcome and support those wishing to film in the area; however a permit is required for all professional and amateur filming or photography that takes place or impacts foreshore reserve under the management of Barwon Coast.
A permit is not required for non-commercial wedding photos or filming.
Permit fees & approvals:
A permit fee of $162 (incl. GST) applies. For major filming events, fees are on application. Not-for-profit organisation and community-based events may be exempted from any fees.
Completion of the application form is not confirmation of your booking. A confirmation email and invoice will be sent within 10 days of your application.
