Have Your Say on Coastal Management

Barwon Coast is developing a new Coastal Management Plan for 13km of coastal Crown land from 7W Collendina to 42W Barwon Heads.

The Barwon coastline belongs to everyone.  Barwon Coast Committee of Management Inc, manages these coastal reserves on your behalf.  The current Coastal Management Plan is up for review, and this is your chance to have your say and tell us:
•    What you value and love about the area;
•    Challenges you think the coastline faces now and into the future; and
•    Ideas for future management.

When collating your comments, you may wish to consider access, landscape stabilisation, pest plants and animals, litter, cultural heritage, native flora and fauna, recreational activities, pathways and trails, access for all abilities, signage,  camping, community services, educational programs; just to name a few.

There are a number of easy ways to provide your comments:
•    Jump on line via CollapMap –www. collaborativemap.com/Barwoncoastcmp; or
•    Email office@barwoncoast.com.au.

To read the current Coastal Management Plan click on About Us on this website.
Comments will be accepted up until Sunday January 22nd, 2017.

The draft CMP will be open for public comment early 2017.
