'SeaChange' TV Series
SeaChange, starring Barwon Heads.
Most of the filming for the very popular ABC television series ‘SeaChange’ was done at Barwon Heads, centered around the bridge, estuary shore, fishermen's jetty and the Beach House.
The series ran for 39 episodes and starred Sigrid Thornton, David Wenham, William McInnes and John Howard.
The series was a great success and people came from all over to see for themselves the beautiful locations shown in the program, which meant a boost to tourism in the local area.
You can stay in the Beach House that was 'Laura's home', with all the great views of the river estuary, the bridge and the ocean. There are now 3 Beach Houses available for booking.
